Just before forever 🤍


There’s something about those last few weeks before a wedding that feels a little different.


The plans are coming together, the countdown is officially ON, and somewhere between all the lists and final details is this little season that deserves to be remembered, too.


For Andrew + Nicole, we did exactly that.


We spent their engagement session wandering through the tall grass, tucked underneath the trees, and chasing every last bit of that dreamy golden light.


And goodness, did the light show up for us. ✨


But as beautiful as the evening was, my favorite part wasn’t the sunshine.


It was them.


The way Andrew could make Nicole laugh. The way they naturally reached for each other. The little glances between poses and the moments when they completely forgot about my camera.


Those are always the ones I love most.


Photos that feel like you


I never want an engagement session to feel like an hour of standing perfectly still and smiling at my camera.


I want movement.


I want laughter.


I want you walking hand in hand, pulling each other closer, twirling in the grass and soaking up an evening where, for just a little while, wedding planning gets pushed aside.


Because your engagement deserves to be remembered for more than planning a wedding.


It’s its own chapter of your story.


And Andrew + Nicole’s chapter looked a whole lot like warm sunshine, happy tears waiting somewhere in the not-so-distant future, and two people who are VERY ready to become husband and wife. 🤍


The next chapter is almost here


One of my favorite parts about photographing engagement sessions for my wedding couples is knowing this isn’t goodbye at the end of the night.
