Hunter + Jess | A Love Worth Celebrating
Some sessions just have a little extra piece of my heart, and Hunter + Jess’s engagement session was absolutely one of them!
I’ve had the opportunity to photograph their family over the last couple of years, so getting to capture this next chapter of their story was incredibly special to me. And knowing I’ll be photographing their wedding next year makes it even sweeter!
Golden Light, Wildflowers & All the Love
Give me an open field, beautiful golden light, a few wildflowers, and two people completely wrapped up in each other, and I am one HAPPY photographer!
From the sweetest forehead touches to the way these two naturally fell into each other’s arms, their entire session was filled with those little in-between moments I love capturing most.
And can we talk about Jess’s white dress and boots?! Paired with Hunter’s navy shirt, the whole look was the perfect combination of romantic, timeless, and a little country.
The warm tones of the Southwest Iowa countryside made the prettiest backdrop, but what I loved most was how these two looked at each other.
More Than Just Engagement Photos
One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is getting to build relationships with the people in front of my camera.
When I get to photograph a family through different seasons of life, those connections become so much more than just showing up with my camera.
And this session was such a beautiful reminder of that.
